As Project Manager, I oversaw the City of Waynesboro’s Water and Sewage Departments, serving more than 5,500 customers. My leadership ensured safe, reliable utility services while improving efficiency, compliance, and long-term sustainability.

Managed Waynesboro’s street department, overseeing paving, drainage, repairs, striping, and contractor work to keep roads safe, compliant, and well-maintained.

The City of Waynesboro operated a Class 1 Rubbish Site, regulated by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), the State Waste Control Board, and the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The facility served as the county’s designated site for household debris—open to all Wayne County residents for a small fee, while city residents had free access.

As Project Manager and Public Works Director for the City of Waynesboro, MS, I was responsible for overseeing the Parks and Recreation Department. When I first arrived, the city’s ballfields were in poor condition—overbooked, overgrown with weeds, littered with debris, hard infields due to overuse of quick-dry material, unmarked outfield fences, and broken scoreboards.

As Project Manager for the City of Waynesboro, I was also responsible for overseeing the Parks Department. This department managed recreational spaces across the city, providing residents with opportunities for leisure activities, family gatherings, and community events.

As Project Manager for the City of Waynesboro, I was responsible for overseeing airport operations and improvements. The city was an annual recipient of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant funds, which I managed to ensure proper use and accountability.
